Ahhh good old gutters. No one ever thinks about them until it rains. If you have a tree that drops a large amount of debris, then when it rains the gutters will overflow causing damage.
The overflow of water can either cause the paint on your eves to warp or blister off completely.
If the water doesn't overflow, then the shear weight of debris and water can eventually cause the gutters to pull away from the eves and can the gutters can fall off completely.
Also, another thing that can happen is the water actually go inside your walls leading to some major damage.
This is the whole reason why it is a good idea to get your gutters cleaned before every rainy season.
We are very careful when cleaning your gutters. The first thing we do is remove all the heavy debris by hand and scoop it into a trash bag. That way the debris doesn't end up on your ground.
The second thing we do is check your downspouts. We ensure that there are no clogs and that water is able to flow freely. If the water doesn't flow freely, then we remove the clog in the downspouts first.
Next, we slowly work our way out of the downspout and gently wash down your gutters. We start at the downspout and work the water down one foot at a time. That way none of the remaining dirt builds upon itself and causes little dirt hills in your gutters.
We do our best to ensure to not splatter the dirt from the gutters onto your eves or walls or windows. This however might happen just a little bit so a lot of people combine window cleaning and/or power washing their house. We are able to wash down your walls and windows but the windows themselves will still spot up from the dirt on the windows and the minerals in the water. In this case you might want to get your windows cleaned as well.
Finally, we clean up any debris that may have hit the ground and wash up after ourselves to leave everything else how it was or even better.
So, what are you waiting for? Don't let costly damage happen to you!
